We do not gain confidence through measuring what we know, but through quantifying how much we do not know. Mara Sherlin Talento is a PhD student in the Biostatistics group of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Hernando Ombao. She finished her Master’s degree in University of the Philippines and served the chairperson of Young Statisticians Committee of the International Statistical Institute during 2020 – 2023. She is also a member of American Statistical Association and International Biometric Society.
